We have two beautifully landscaped campuses in Michigan that offer residential opportunities whether you would like to own your own home or rent. Both locations offer a large range of amenities and services. These include a chapel with regular services, dining halls, recreational facilities and an on-site doctor/nurse's office. The St Joseph, Michigan campus is on 44 acres and offers apartments, condominiums and villas for ownership or rental with different levels of services for supported living. The Holt, Michigan campus, offers apartments for rental on 11 wooded acres with catering and housekeeping services. Residents can have complete independence but also enjoy all the social activities that come with community living and the security of living in a caring Christian environment, specifically catering for the physical and spiritual needs of the elderly. Martin Luther Memorial Homes, Inc. was founded
in 1957. Through the years it has owned and operated five skilled nursing
facilities in Michigan. It opened its first Independent Living Facility in
the Lansing area in 1999 and began Lutheran Heritage Village in St. Joseph in

Martin Luther Memorial Homes, Inc., a non¬profit association of Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod congregations, is committed to providing "Christian Care for the Aging" in a financially sound manner. We accomplish this by responding to the changing spiritual and physical needs of all who seek our services.
"However many years a man may live, let him enjoy them all." Ecc 11:8 "Do not cast me away when I am old. Do not forsake me when my strength is gone." Psalm 71:9 "Rise in the presence of the aged and show respect for the elderly." Leviticus 19:32 "Listen to your father, who gave you life; and do not despise your mother when she is old." Proverbs 23:22 In each of these Bible passages God directs us to lovingly care for the needs of our elderly brothers and sisters in the family of Christ. To this end, Martin Luther Memorial Homes, Inc., has developed Senior Living Communities with services for those with physical and spiritual needs, in its continuing effort to provide Christian Care for the Aging. |
